Remakes from Korea and Japan

Four titles adapt foreign stories. Itaewon Class Thai Edition comes from the Korean series, covered in our story on the Thai remake, and Shooting Stars is another Korean adaptation. Pie and the 7 Witches (พายยกกำลังเจ็ด) is based on a Japanese manga published by Kodansha.

HiGH & LOW Born to be High (ท้าตายแต่เกิด), which L’Officiel Thailand calls a large-scale action project, adapts the Japanese franchise with HI-AX and the Thai company Phap Dee Thawee Suk as partners. GMMTV also named VAMP, a co-production with MDA Entertainment led and directed by Mike Pirat Nithiphaisankul, and Pineapple Leaf Blade (คมใบสัปปะรด), a series based on real events directed by Anucha Boonyawatana.
