Eighteen years later, Buraphakham leads a rebellion and kills King Phuka in public. His daughter Ananthip loses her home and her title, and returns as a careful strategist set on taking the throne back. Netflix says she faces a friend turned rival, the man she loves and a princess from another city who uses charm and wealth to gain power.

In Netflix Thailand’s first-look release, the team says it kept the heart of the original story and gave its characters more complex motives.
