Open for enrolment: performing arts in Bangkok, December to January

This month’s openings for performing arts in Bangkok run from acting courses and a youth dance workshop to three music applications, plus a free drawing course, all taking sign-ups now with sessions in December 2026 or January 2027. Every row below was checked on 6 November 2026 against the provider’s own page, except the BEM course, which comes from a press report. Prices appear only where the provider states them. Gozen Arts, listed first, was added on 7 November (see the note at the end).

Singing and dance groups starting every month

Gozen Arts teaches singing, dance and acting to ages 4-17 at two campuses, Ari (Saki Studio) and Rama 9 (Bravo BKK), mainly in English with Thai support. It opens new DanSing groups every month; each four-week module ends with a mini-showcase for parents, and the school gives start dates on request through LINE. Its musical theatre course for ages 5-17 takes students by audition, applied for through the same LINE account; term dates and fees are not published. gozen-arts.com

Acting classes in Bangkok for teens and adults

MasterClass Studio, at Lat Phrao Soi 25 in Chatuchak, starts four courses in January. Besides the two in the table, Acting for Film begins on Sunday 10 January and Advanced Acting Techniques on Wednesday 13 January. The studio says a showcase production fee of up to 3,000 baht is not included in the Fundamentals and Advanced courses, and the teen class takes up to 12 students.

Dance and drawing in December

The IYDC Bangkok event runs from 6 to 8 December at Aksra Theatre, ending with a gala performance on 8 December. Its main entry window closed on 15 October, so later entries depend on space and carry an SGD 50 surcharge. BEM’s free drawing course for upper-secondary students meets near MRT Khlong Toei and, according to MGR Online, results go out on BEM’s Facebook page.

Music auditions in Bangkok

The College of Music’s competitions and auditions take place on Mahidol University’s Salaya campus, west of central Bangkok. Pre-College round 2 closes on 7 November, so round 3 is the realistic option for most families, and the college says auditions are on site. The Asian Youth Orchestra’s Bangkok audition is for its summer 2027 programme, which runs from 11 July to 22 August; the venue is to be announced.
